FDM 3D Printing
Fused Deposition Modeling — Robust and cost-effective parts from thermoplastic filaments, built layer by layer for prototypes and series production.
FDM 3D Printing — The All-Rounder for Robust Parts
In Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM), thermoplastic filament is fed through a heated nozzle and built up layer by layer into a three-dimensional object. This proven process offers an excellent balance between cost, speed and mechanical durability. Whether functional prototype, housing development or small series — FDM printing delivers reliable results for industrial applications.
At Reents 3D, we produce on a broad FDM machine park for prototypes, fixtures and durable end-use parts. The material range extends from PLA for fast concept models through PETG, ABS and ASA to flexible TPU and carbon-fibre reinforced PA-CF for especially stiff functional parts. Water-soluble PVA support material is also part of the portfolio.
Post-Processing for Perfect Results
Our service doesn’t end with the print. We offer comprehensive post-processing options: surface smoothing and tumble finishing for an appealing finish, professional painting in RAL or custom colours, insertion of threaded inserts for assembly-ready parts, IP67 sealing for use in wet or dusty environments, and UV coating for outdoor applications. You receive a finished product that is ready for immediate use — from concept to deployment, all from a single source.
