SLS 3D Printing — Industrial Quality Without Compromise

In Selective Laser Sintering (SLS), fine plastic powder — typically PA12/Nylon — is fused layer by layer with a powerful laser. The special advantage: since the surrounding powder serves as a natural support structure, even highly complex geometries are possible that cannot be realised with any other process. The result is mechanically durable parts with nearly isotropic properties.

Depending on the application, we use PA12 for robust standard parts, PA11 for higher ductility and TPU for flexible components. This makes SLS suitable for functional end-use parts, clips, hinges, housings and complex assemblies that need to perform in daily use.

From Small Series to Production

SLS printing is particularly compelling for small series production: by efficiently utilising the entire build volume and printing multiple parts simultaneously, unit costs decrease significantly. For quantities of 10 to 500, SLS often offers the most economical solution — without tooling costs, without minimum order quantities, and with consistently high quality in every single part.

Advantages

No Support Structures

The surrounding powder supports the part during printing — even the most complex geometries are achievable without supports.

Industrial Strength

PA12, PA11 and TPU cover durable, chemically resistant and flexible applications.

Isotropic Properties

SLS parts are nearly isotropic — mechanical properties are uniform in all directions.

Production Ready

Ideal for small series with consistent quality and short turnaround times.
