Rapid Prototyping
Fast prototype manufacturing with FDM, SLA and SLS — from first design to functional prototype in just days.
Rapid Prototyping — From Idea to Prototype in Record Time
Rapid prototyping is the fastest path from digital design to physical part. With our additive manufacturing processes — FDM, SLA and SLS — we produce functional prototypes within days, without expensive tooling or long lead times. This allows you to quickly validate, test and refine your product ideas before investing in series production.
At Reents 3D, every prototyping process begins with expert process consultation: Do you need a robust functional prototype for mechanical testing? Then FDM with engineering plastics like PETG or PA12 is the right choice. Need a highly detailed model for a client presentation? SLA delivers surfaces virtually indistinguishable from injection moulding. For durable prototypes with isotropic properties, we recommend SLS with PA12/Nylon.
Iterative Prototyping for Better Products
The true advantage of rapid prototyping lies in the speed of iteration. Instead of waiting weeks for tooling, you can test, compare and optimise multiple design variants within days. This agile development approach reduces development risks, lowers overall costs and significantly shortens time-to-market. Combined with our CAD & Engineering service, we accompany you from the first sketch to a production-ready design.

Advantages
Fast Turnaround
From CAD model to finished prototype in just days — no tooling costs or long lead times.
Multiple Processes
FDM for robust functional parts, SLA for detail models, SLS for durable end-use parts — we select the optimal process.
Iterative Design
Rapid design loops enable multiple prototype iterations in the shortest possible time.
Cost-Effective
No tooling costs, no minimum quantities — economical from batch size 1.
