Innovative Partnership with Young Talent

Education and technology belong together. That is why Reents Technologies GmbH supports Team B.O.A.T. Motorworks from Gymnasium Rissen in Hamburg with their project in the “Formula 1 in Schools” competition.

The Competition

“Formula 1 in Schools” is an international technology competition where student teams design, manufacture, and race a miniature racing car. It is not just about speed but also about engineering design, teamwork, project management, and presentation.

The students go through the entire development process: from the initial idea through CAD design and manufacturing to marketing their team. They learn skills that go far beyond the regular curriculum.

Our Support

Under tight time constraints, we leveraged our expertise in manufacturing components from ABS material. Our support included:

FDM 3D Printing with ABS

ABS offers the combination of strength, heat resistance, and surface quality necessary for the competition. Parts were manufactured with optimized print parameters to achieve maximum performance.

Fast Delivery

By running multiple printers simultaneously, we were able to complete the components within 48 hours. For time-critical school projects, this responsiveness is essential.

Technical Consultation

Beyond manufacturing, we advised the team on design questions and identified optimization potential.

Team B.O.A.T. Motorworks

The team from Gymnasium Rissen distinguished itself through dedication, creativity, and team spirit. The collaboration between students of different grade levels demonstrates how enthusiasm for technology connects and motivates.

Additional Sponsors

In addition to Reents Technologies, several other companies supported the team:

  • DEVCON-CT Consulting & Training GmbH
  • EDEKA Boll
  • feinkostMEDIA
  • Pigmento GmbH

This community shows how regional companies can join forces to support the next generation of engineers and technicians.

Why We Get Involved

Supporting educational projects is an integral part of our company philosophy. Enthusiasm for technology is not born in textbooks but through hands-on experience. When we give students the opportunity to experience cutting-edge manufacturing technology firsthand, we invest in the future.

Conclusion

The collaboration with Team B.O.A.T. Motorworks was enriching for both sides. We congratulate the team on their commitment and are glad to have been part of this project.
