Thank You for a Special Year
2023 was a year of firsts for Reents Technologies GmbH. As a newly founded company, we accomplished a great deal in a short time and would like to take this opportunity to look back and say thank you.
The Founding
The starting signal came in May 2023. Reents Technologies GmbH was founded in Schenefeld near Hamburg with the goal of making professional 3D printing and additive manufacturing accessible to companies in the Hamburg metropolitan region. From the very first days, it was clear: we want to be more than a printing service. We want to be a partner for the entire process chain.
Building the Infrastructure
The first months were defined by setup: machines were procured and configured, processes defined, and quality standards established. Our print farm grew step by step and today offers the capacity to handle multiple orders in parallel.
In parallel, we invested in our digital infrastructure: website, online calculator, and communication channels were built to make access to our services as straightforward as possible.
First Projects and Clients
The most rewarding moment for a new company is the first satisfied client. In 2023, we had the opportunity to realize projects across diverse fields:
- Prototype construction for product development departments
- Spare parts manufacturing for machines without available original parts
- Enclosure development for electronics projects
- Trade show models and presentation objects
- Educational projects in collaboration with schools
Every project advanced our capabilities and delivered valuable experience.
Technological Development
Throughout the year, we expanded our technology portfolio:
- Expansion of FDM capacities with large-format printers
- Integration of SLA printing for highly detailed models
- Development of the 3D scanning service for reverse engineering
- Qualification of new materials for industrial applications
Network and Community
Particularly valuable were the connections we made in 2023. Exchange with other companies, educational institutions, and the 3D printing community inspired us and opened new perspectives.
Outlook for 2024
For the coming year, we have ambitious plans: additional technologies, new partnerships, and even better service for our clients. The foundation we laid in 2023 gives us confidence to achieve these goals.
